Disclaimer
OptionsKing is an informational tool. It is not a broker-dealer, not an investment adviser, and it does not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice. It never places a trade and never touches a brokerage account. Everything below applies to the app, to this website, and to every calculator on it.
Advisory only
OptionsKing is an informational tool, not a financial adviser or broker. It never places, modifies, or cancels trades, and it never connects to or reads your brokerage account. Every recommendation is a suggestion you must evaluate and place yourself — all trading decisions and their outcomes are entirely your own responsibility.
On every recommendation
Not financial advice. This is an informational estimate, not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Selling options carries real risk, including assignment and loss that can exceed the premium received. Quotes are delayed (about 15 minutes) — confirm the live price and terms with your broker before you place any trade.
Past performance
Past outcomes do not predict future results. Figures shown reflect only your own recorded trades. Assignment probability is an estimate derived from delta and is not a guarantee. OptionsKing does not promise or project any profit.
The calculators on this site
Every calculator on optionsking.app/tools runs on numbers you type in. They fetch nothing, store nothing, and know nothing about your account or your positions. Their output is arithmetic on your inputs, not a view on whether a trade is a good idea.
Worked examples on these pages use illustrative prices. They are not quotes, they are not live, and they are not claims about what any security traded at on any date.
The risks, stated plainly
- Selling options carries real risk of loss, and the loss can exceed the premium received by a wide margin.
- A cash-secured put obliges you to buy 100 shares per contract at the strike, however far the stock has fallen. The maximum loss is the break-even times 100, reached if the stock goes to zero.
- A covered call caps your upside at the strike. If the stock doubles, you sold it at the strike.
- Assignment can happen early, particularly around an ex-dividend date, and no probability on this site predicts it.
- Probabilities shown anywhere in the app or on this site are model estimates under assumptions that do not hold perfectly in real markets. They are not guarantees.
- Options are not suitable for every investor. Read the OCC's Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options before you trade them.
Market data
